1996
The first baguette
From a street baguette stand to a recognizable brand – the story of Pierre Baguette began in the town of Sládkovičovo, Slovakia.
1998
From the stall to the gas station
Since their customers were initially mainly schoolchildren, sales dropped during the summer holidays, so they offered the baguettes at a Shell gas station in Galanta. They sold 10 pieces in three hours on the first day, and over the weekend, more than 200.
1999
From a gas station to a wide sales network
The good reputation of the delicious baguettes and the reliable supplier spread quickly, and with it the circle of customers grew. More and more gas stations showed interest in the products, so the company gradually began to supply the entire retail network and acquire new customers.
2000
Expansion into foreign markets
At the turn of the millennium, baguettes from Sládkovičov conquered the whole of Slovakia, and at the same time they began to make their way to the neighboring markets of Hungary and Austria.
2003
Production modernization
After seven years of operating in rented premises, the company opened its own factory. With the purchase of its first technological equipment and a strategic focus on marketing, a new chapter in development began.
2004
Hello, Pierre Baguette!
The Pierre Baguette brand has been characterized by the recognizable character of Pierre since 2004.
2008
Automated line
Growth was successful. We launched the first automated baguette baking line and began supplying our products to markets in the Czech Republic, Austria, and Poland.
2010
The first 30 thousand
Baking, filling and assembling of Pierre Baguette products was carried out at full speed. Daily production reached 30,000 products for the first time.
2013
We are building our own fleet
To ensure the freshness and quality of products on their way to the customer, we have established our own fleet of 26 vehicles equipped with refrigeration technology.
2014
From idea to million
Monthly production has risen to more than a million products.
2015
New line and culinary master
In parallel with the nine production lines, our team has also been strengthened. We were joined by renowned culinary master Marek Ort, who used his knowledge to help perfect the taste of our baguettes and create his own innovative recipes.
2016
We ship 100 thousand products daily
Distribution was handled by a fleet of nearly 50 refrigerated vehicles, which ensured complete temperature control during transport. This meant that our products were as fresh when purchased as when they left the factory.
2017
The first automated bakery
We launched the first fully automated bakery for baking baguettes.
2019
Several types of sandwiches
We have established a new automated line for the production of coated bakery products.
2020
We won the golden treble
Our culinary team was strengthened by Braňo Križan, we launched a fully automated toast bakery and opened the first NON-STOP kiosk.
2021
Our new toppings
We started preparing our own fresh, preservative-free dressings using original recipes.
2022
Active & Fit
We launched a new, nutritionally balanced line of Active & Fit products in protein bread.
2023
Chef's menu
We launched the first limited edition of exclusive Chef's Menu baguettes, created according to the original recipes of Marek Ort, Braň Križan and Samuel Klčo.
