1996
The first baguette
The story of Pierre Baguette begins in Sládkovičovo, where the brand’s founders hand-made and sold baguettes from a small stall in a side street.
1998
From the stand at the petrol station
When school customers were scarce during the summer holidays, the owners began selling their baguettes at the Shell petrol station in Galanta. On the first day, they sold 10 baguettes in three hours, and over 200 on the weekend.
1999
From the petrol station to the entire retail network
Word of the delicious baguettes and trusted suppliers spread quickly, and the customer base grew. More and more petrol stations are showing interest in these products, and the company is gradually supplying them to entire chains.
2000
Expansion into foreign markets
At the turn of the millennium, baguettes from Sládkovičovo had already conquered all of Slovakia, and the expansion into neighbouring markets in Hungary and Austria was beginning to take shape.
2003
Modernisation of production
After seven years of domestic production in rented spaces, the company moves to its own factory, purchases its first technologies, and begins to focus on marketing.

2008
Automated production line
We are successfully growing. We launch our first automated baguette baking line and begin supplying our products to operations in Austria and Poland.
2010
The first 30,000
We bake, fill, and assemble Pierre Baguette products at full capacity. The daily production reaches up to 30,000 products.
2013
We are building our own fleet of vehicles
To maintain control over the quality of our products from production to delivery to the customer, we send out 26 of our own vehicles equipped with refrigeration equipment.
2014
From an idea to a million
We produce over 1 million products per month.
2015
New production line and the head chef
Simultaneously, nine production lines are already operating for us. Our team is growing with the addition of renowned head chef Marek Ort, who helps perfect the taste of our baguettes and creates his own product innovations.
2016
We dispatch 100,000 products daily
Deliveries are now made using nearly 50 trucks equipped with refrigeration equipment, ensuring the cold chain is maintained throughout the entire transportation process. From the moment our products leave the factory until they are sold, they are always consistently fresh.
2017
The first automated bakery
We are launching the first fully automated bakery for baking baguettes
2019
More filled baked goods
We have a new automated line for producing filled baked goods.
2020
We can boast a golden hat-trick
Our team of chefs is strengthened by Braňo Križan, we are launching a fully automated bakery for toast bread, and opening our first NONSTOP kiosk.
2021
Our newly made dressings
We are starting the production of our own fresh dressings without preservatives, made from original recipes.
2022
Active & Fit
We are launching a new, nutritionally balanced Active & Fit product line with protein bread.
2023
Chef's Menu
We are introducing the first limited edition of exclusive baguettes from the Chef's Menu based on original recipes by Marek Ort, Braň Križan and Samuel Klčo.
