1996
The first baguette
The story of Pierre Baguette begins in Sládkovičovo, where the brand’s founders sold hand-made baguettes from a small stall in a side street.
1998
From the stall to the gas station
When the student clientele runs dry during the summer holidays, the owners offer their baguettes to the Shell gas station in Galanta. On the first day, they sell 10 baguettes in 3 hours, and by the weekend, that number’s over 200.
1999
From the gas station to entire retail networks
Word-of-mouth about the delicious baguettes and reliable suppliers spreads quickly, and the customer base grows. More gas stations show interest in the products. The company gradually supplies entire retail networks, and the number of customers grows further.
2000
Expansion into foreign markets
At the turn of the millennium, baguettes from Sládkovičovo had already conquered all of Slovakia, and the expansion into neighbouring markets in Hungary and Austria was beginning to take shape.
2003
Modernisation of production
After seven years of domestic production in a rented space, the business moves to its own factory, makes its first technology purchases, and begins to focus on marketing.

Automated production line
We are successfully growing. We have launched our first automated baguette baking line and start supplying our products to operations in Austria, and Poland.
2010
The first 30,000
We bake, fill, and assemble Pierre Baguette products at full capacity. The daily production is approaching 30 thousand products.
2013
We are building our own fleet of vehicles
To keep the quality of our products under control from production to delivery to the customer, we operate 26 vehicles equipped with cooling technology on the road.

From an idea to a million

2015
New production line and our head chef
We simultaneously operate nine production lines. Our team has grown with the addition of the renowned head chef Marek Ort, who helps perfect the flavours of our baguettes and creates his own product innovations.
2016
We dispatch 100,000 products daily
Delivery is handled by nearly 50 vehicles equipped with cooling technology to maintain constant temperature throughout transport. From the moment they leave production until they are sold, our products remain perfectly fresh.
2017
The first automated bakery
We are launching the first fully automated bakery for making baguettes
