1996
The first baguette
The story of Pierre Baguette begins in Sládkovičovo, where the brand’s founders made baguettes by hand and sold them from a small stand in a side street.
1998
From the stand at the petrol station
When school is out for the summer holidays, the owners offer their baguettes to the Shell gas station in Galanta. On the first day, they sell 10 baguettes in 3 hours and by the weekend, it's already more than 200.
1999
From a single petrol station to the nationwide network
Thanks to positive customer feedback and word-of-mouth about the delicious baguettes and reliable suppliers, the customer base grows quickly. More petrol stations show interest in the products. The company gradually supplies the entire retail network nationwide and the number of customers increases.
2000
Expansion into foreign markets
At the turn of the millennium, baguettes from Sládkovičovo had already conquered all of Slovakia and the expansion into neighbouring markets in Hungary and Austria was beginning to take shape.
2003
Modernisation of production
After seven years of domestic production in rented spaces, the company moves to its own factory, purchases its first equipment and begins to focus on marketing.
2004

Since 2004, Pierre Baguette products have been recognisable by the brand logo of Pierre.
2008
Automated production line
We are successfully growing. We launch our first automated baguette baking line and begin supplying our products to operations in Austria and Poland.
2010
The first 30 thousand
We bake, fill and assemble Pierre Baguette products at full capacity. Daily production reaches up to 30,000 products.
2013
We are building our own fleet of vehicles
To keep the quality of our products under control from production to delivery to the customer, we put 26 of our own vehicles equipped with cooling technology on the road

From the idea to the first million

2015
New production line and the head chef
We now have nine production lines operating simultaneously. Our team is growing with the addition of renowned head chef Marek Ort, who helps perfect the taste of our baguettes and creates his own product innovations.
2016
We dispatch 100,000 products daily
Delivery is handled by almost 50 vehicles equipped with cooling technology to maintain the temperature chain at every moment of transport. From the moment they leave production until they are sold, our products remain just as fresh.
2017
The first automated bakery
We launch the first fully automated bakery for baking baguettes

More filled baked goods
We have a new automated line for producing filled baked goods

A new milstone
Our team of chefs is strengthened by Braňo Križan; we launch a fully automated bakery for toast bread and open our first 24/7 kiosk

Our newly made dressings
We start the production of our own fresh dressings without preservatives, made from original recipes

We launch a new nutritionally balanced product line, Active & Fit, in protein bread

Chef's menu
